What do you find are the most rewarding aspects of your work at Rātā Foundation?
My role at Rātā Foundation is Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. I am new to the Foundation and obtained the job through the Launchpad Programme which provides a supportive and unique opportunity to integrate school leavers into professional careers. As the first point of contact for our clients I am looking forward to interacting with a diverse group of people.
What are the highlights of your time at Rātā Foundation so far?
Through my involvement with the Launchpad Programme I am studying Business Administration and Computing at CPIT one morning a week. I consider myself lucky to have an employer who supports learning on the job and a real highlight for me is having the opportunity to be able to put my new skills into practice as I learn them.
What motivated you to join Rātā Foundation?
I was motivated to join the Foundation by the opportunity to work for a progressive organisation which values learning and also does such good work for and on behalf of our communities.
What are you personally most passionate about in supporting the community?
I am really passionate about supporting Health and Wellbeing and Young People in our communities and getting to see first hand the difference our funding will make to these sectors.
What gets you up and off to work each morning?
What gets me up and off in the morning is that fact that I know that when I come to work I am going to be surrounded by a supportive, caring and passionate team and be given the chance to play my part in helping the community thrive.
